Vox Pop Evaluation

We made a vox pop video to research what peoples opinions were about music videos and what people think makes a good music video. The questions we asked were:

-Do you watch music video?
-What is your favourite music video?
-What do you like about Music videos?
-What makes a great music video?
-Where do you watch music videos?

Our questions were worded so that the people that we interviewed could easily understand what we were asking and could quickly answer the question without to much hesitation. For the first question that we asked most of the responses that came back was that they did watch music videos. Getting people that say yes to the first question was key as then they're able to answer the other questions you need to watch music videos. The second question 'What is your favourite music video' came back with a different answers such as Johnny Cash 'Hurt' and Justice 'D.A.N.C.E'. These were all different types of music videos so it did not  help us find a specific type of music video, that everyone enjoyed.  The question ' What do you like about music videos' helped us alot when coming up with an idea as the people we interviewed told us what the liked about music videos so we can adapt what people like about the videos into our music video. This is also how question 4 helped us as the answers that were given we could adapt to make it a great music video. Finally the last question asks people where they watch music videos, most of the people asked said they watch them using youtube and not on the television on a music channel, this means we should definetly upload our music video on youtube once it is finished if we want it to become popular.

In conclusion the questions that we asked helped us adapt our music video ideas to ones that we think more of the public will enjoyed and what people think make a good music video.
